Hola Fashionistas!

Style Interview!

Our featured actress is the soulful, proud and sincere Simone Vicari Moore (Cold Case, Boston Legal, Belly 2, Mrs. Washington Goes to Smith).

SIMONE: Wow, someone read my bio...

U40F: (laughs) Simone recently modeled in our Under40fashion photo shoot!

SIMONE: Which was so much fun, hi gals! You know, I have to say, I take a lot of pictures and post a lot of things on my facebook page, but nothing has gotten me as many likes as my pictures wearing under40fashion clothes.

U40F: Cool!

SIMONE: No, seriously! the studded turquoise swing dress and the double take dress got me the most likes. I was like, OK, Great!

U40F: I know the under40fashion team has picked some awesome pieces this season.

SIMONE: the color are great with my skin tone, its like everything looked good on me!

U40F: Tell us about some your style influences growing up?

SIMONE: Well, I would say my mom, my aunt Debbie, Michael Jackson  ... Always had great style, she was a secretary and sometimes a model in Montego Bay, Jamaica where I grew up. She just always knew what colors worked with her skin tone, what cuts to wear, when I was little she had a lot of her clothes tailor made so she always looked crisp.  My aunt Debbie she was just fearless, she would slash her cat suits along the arms and legs - she looked like a tiger a little bit but some how it all worked.  She wore the craziest Salt n' Peppa  style weaves, I still raid her closet to this day.

U40F: And Michael?

SIMONE: I love how you said and Michael. He sort of belongs to all of us doesn't he? Michael had a very classic style he wore black and white all the time and then he would wear GOLD,SILVER, BLUE.Always the purest hue of a colorLK
